"Free" Forms migration offer
20 March 2008, Oxford, UK.
Quintessence Systems Limited today announced that it would migrate a sample form for prospective customers at no cost, to help them to verify that in2j Forms 'does what it says on the tin' - that is, convert working Forms applications into the Java language while preserving the full functionality, appearance and feel of the original.
Under the terms of the offer, customers provide QSL with their selected form (.fmb file) together with any other files needed for its operation (such as .mmb files, olb files, PL/SQL libraries), a working database, and transaction screenshots. QSL will then migrate the form and return it to the customer as a working Java solution.
"It is one thing for us to explain to a customer what in2j does and how it can help them - but what really opens their eyes is when they see it", said QSL sales director Oliver Tickell. "Once they get the original Forms system and the migrated Java form working side by side, and there's nothing to tell them which is which, that's when they know that we really can do the job. Seeing is believing and sometimes nothing less will do."
